If you like to add additional information including technical information based on your observations to a particular problem, then you can Add Notes to that problem. You can also use notes to update the status of the problem.
To add a note to the problem:
Log in to ServiceDesk Plus On-Demand using your user name and password.
Click the Problems tab in the header pane.
Click the Title of the problem to which you would like to add a note. This opens the problem details page.
Click the Add New combo box -> Select Note option. This opens Add Notes page as shown below:
Enter your content in the text box. These notes are public.
Save the details. The note is added at the bottom of the problem along with a date and time stamp. The name of the person who added the note is also displayed.
Editing Notes
To edit notes:
Click on the Problems tab. All the problems will be displayed
Click on the Title of the problem. In the Notes section click on the Edit link on the right hand side (OR)
In the View Problems page click on the Notes icon
Deleting Notes
To delete notes:
Click on the Problems tab. All the problems will be displayed
Click on the Title of the problem. In the Notes section click on the Delete link on the right hand side
